Dr. Fields has over 40 years of pioneering educational programs for clergy, women and children. She and her family reside in Palm Bay, Florida. She is the wife of Superintendent Dr. Ronnie Fields – Pastor & Founder of Christian Fellowship Church Of God In Christ in Melbourne, Florida. She is the mother of two adult children & a son-in-law.

Dr. Fields earned her Associate of Arts degree from University of Florida; Bachelor of Science degree in Speech from the University of Florida; Master of Science degree in Administration from Nova University and a Doctor of Education degree from Nova Southeastern University.

Dr. Doreatha J. Fields is a Licensed Clergy, Certified Florida Supreme Court Family Mediator, President & CEO of Seamless Connections, LLC Professional Mediation & Consultant Company, Certified Life Coach, Management Consultant, Author and Motivational Speaker. She is a Lecturer and Speaker on topics including Christian & Religious Ethics, Education, Women, Youth, Families, Administration, as well as Strategic Ministry Development. She is the author of four (4) published inspirational and personal development books. She served as a University Professor providing instruction in master’s level Business Administration & Business Ethic courses. She is a notable Speaker with Honors from Ecumenical, Military, Corporate & Governmental entities.

Dr. Fields’ current Church, Ecumenical & Religious involvement spans local, district, jurisdictional & national venues. She is the Deputy Adjutant Mother on the National Adjutancy. She serves as the President of the Department of Women of Christian Fellowship COGIC. She is a Licensed  Evangelist Missionary of the Church Of God In Christ, Inc. She serves as Christian Education Coordinator & Biblical Studies Instructor of Christian Fellowship Life Impact Bible Institute (LIBI). Dr. Fields is the Jurisdictional Women’s Department Education and Clergy Licensure Coordinator of the Women’s Biblical Training Institute (WBTI). She is member of the Jurisdiction of Southwestern Florida Education Department and is the Financial Expeditor for the Jurisdictional Department of Women of the Jurisdiction of Southwestern Florida COGIC. She is the Assistant Chaplain of the Melbourne-Palm Bay Alumnae Chapter of  Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.

In 2021, Dr. Fields received  a National Appointment by Presiding Bishop J. Drew Sheard as the Deputy Adjutant Mother of the National Adjutancy. She has been a National Credentialed Clergy Missionary since 1986. In 2003, she was appointed to & served in the Office of District Missionary of the Greater Orlando District of the Jurisdiction of Southwestern Florida COGIC for 14 years before deferring to her husband’s Appointment to the Office of District Superintendent. She has been a member of the National Adjutancy Corps since 2000. Dr. Fields was appointed by Adjutant General Matthew Williams as an Adjutant Mother-At-Large in 2009. In 2013, Dr. Fields made history within the 113-year-old organization of the Church Of God In Christ Worldwide, by receiving the National Appointment as the First Female Assistant Dean of the National Adjutancy Corps Academy and International regions of the world. She was responsible for Academy curriculum, training & certification for over 2,000 National Adjutants as an extension of the Office of the International Presiding Bishop. In 2021, she was re-appointed as Assistant Dean of the National Adjutancy by Adjutant General Bishop Dickerson L. S. Wells.

Dr. Fields has a fervent passion for community service. Her stellar awards and accomplishments include, in 2001, Dr. Fields received the National Jefferson Award from the American Institute for Public Service in Washington, D.C. which is the highest national award for Public Service. In 2003, she was honored by the Florida Commission on the Status of Women as the Founder of Brevard County’s first African American owned private K -12th grade school. In 2006, she was named Brevard’s Influential Woman of Color. In 2006, she received the Key to the City of  Palm Bay. In 2007, she was the recipient of the Onyx Award for Outstanding Pioneering & Achievement in the field of Education . In 2008, she was named “Woman of the Year”. On February 19, 2009, Dr. Fields had the distinction of being the first African American contemporary female leader to have the city of Palm Bay, Florida name a street in her honor as “Doreatha Fields Avenue” in acknowledgement of her outstanding community service & humanitarianism. In 2013, she was appointed to the Congressional Education Advisory Committee by Congressman Bill Posey. In 2014, she was honored by the National Congress of Black Women for Commitment to Ministry and received the Quality Floridian Award from Congressman Bill Posey. In 2016, Dr. Fields was honored with Life Works Recognition Award by Island Breeez Productions.
